If you rent from us, you’ll get high quality gear in good condition. We have rental equipment across the Northwest Territories in Yellowknife, Fort Simpson, Norman Wells, Lutsel K’e, and Inuvik. To make things simple, all canoe rentals include a lifejacket, 2 paddles + one spare, and throw bag. All kayak rentals include a whistle, paddle float, throw bag, spray skirt, bilge pump. Additional items available only with a boat rental are: (per day, + 5% GST) = Spray Deck (canoe) – $18, Whitewater Helmet – $5, Barrel or 115L dry bag – $4, Barrel Harness – $3, Tarp 15′ x 15′ – $8.

We offer over-night, multi-day canoe & kayak rentals, but are not located near the water. If you are looking for a canoe or kayak to rent for one day or less, with easy access to Yellowknife Bay, please check out Sundog Adventures!
We offer 16’ and 17’ prospector canoes (royalex and T-Formex), fully nestable, as well as 17’ single kayaks and 22′ tandem kayaks (fibreglass), TRAK pack kayaks, and Ally pack canoes. Canoes include skid plates and foam knee pads. Prices below do not include GST. Additional fees for rentals of a tandem kayak, TRAK pack kayak, Ally pack canoe or any canoe rental in Fort Simpson, Lutsel K’e, Norman Wells, or Inuvik. Partial refunds are not provided for the early return of equipment.

No camping gear? No problem! We’ve got you covered! We have the basics to outfit you and your friends and family for a memorable experience. All you will need to bring is a sense of adventure and your personal items. Ask about camp stoves, pots, cultery, headlamps, and maps if you need them.
Our equipped camping package includes: – one inflatable sleeping pad (thick and supportive but light and compressable) – one sleeping bag (rated to your conditions) – one tent (easy to assemble, light and watertight)

We offer a shuttle service based in Yellowknife, to locations down the Ingraham Trail and Highway 3 to North Arm Park, Fort Providence, and Fort Simpson. We can accommodate up to 14 passengers in our off-road capable 2019 Chevy Express Van, outfitted with roof racks and a canoe trailer.
