INTRO TO LAKE CANOEING
Join us for our foundational “canoeing 101” course that introduces proper technique for the core strokes you’ll need to control your canoe. Master the “J-stroke”, learn rescue skills, and get better prepared for your summer canoe adventures in this 8 hour course.
YOUTH OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP CAMP
Our Youth Outdoor Leadership Camp (ages 11-14) will take kids to the pristine wilderness and clear waters on the rivers and lakes in the Yellowknife area. Staff are chosen for their experience, skills and ability to make trips fun and safe. We start at the beginning with 2-days at a local lake make sure everyone is comfortable in the boats and with our safety procedures. Then we are off for 3 nights and 4 days of self-propelled, learning on the land. It’s a great opportunity to be with a peer group in canoes, setting up camp and learning to navigate amongst islands and along lakes.Learn More
